What started out as a small gathering of German families at a local play centre in 2008 has developed into a multi-member interactive parent cooperative. Today, we run a specifically designed German Literacy programme, using fit-for-purpose classrooms, and are teaching over 30 students every school term.

But we’re more than just a school...

It’s a place for parents to meet and for children to make friends. There is lots of interaction on the school playground before and after classes, we have a ‘resident musician’ who entertains us, and operate a small library of German children’s books. We organise several events each year to bring us together as a community and to celebrate cultural traditions, such as Ostern, Laternenfest, Advent und Weihnachtszeit. Throughout the year there is ample opportunity to get involved!
